It is an undeniable fact that the Dynamics of Islamıc Civilization lie at the foundation of the scientific level achieved globally. This humble work you currently hold in your hands only serves to reassert those facts. This work reflects in part that Europe lived in the days of total medieval darkness- as coined by Europeans themselves- at a time when Islamic Civilization was reaching great cultural and scientific strides. Several examples excerpted from ‘’Kitabu al-Itibar’’ by Usame Ibn Munkiz, known to those scholars who are involved in the field, will be sufficient to establish that Islamıc medicine was incomparably ahead of European medicine at the time.
